Guildford Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Fallon Hope as the new Club Doctor. Dr Hope brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having completed a rigorous two-year medical internship at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town. Throughout this internship, she demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing healthcare through clinical practice, research, and education.

With over 15 years of experience as a biokineticist specialising in sports medicine and chronic disease management, Dr Hope possesses a comprehensive understanding of clinical assessments, including ECGs and lung function evaluations. Her extensive background has enabled her to successfully lead rehabilitation programmes tailored for a diverse patient demographic.

In her previous role as Head Biokineticist for the University of Cape Town Rugby Club, Dr Hope expertly managed the medical and training needs of players. She developed customised rehabilitation plans, coordinated performance standards, and provided education on training and nutrition while diligently documenting players’ progress.

Furthermore, Dr Hope has contributed to academia by lecturing in the Exercise and Sports Medicine department and publishing research in the esteemed British Journal of Sports Medicine. Her multifaceted experience makes her an invaluable asset to Guildford Football Club as we strive to enhance the health and performance of our players. We warmly welcome Dr Fallon Hope to our team.
