Overview

The Volunteer Matchday Staff play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of football matches. This position involves a variety of responsibilities that are essential for maintaining the integrity of the playing field and facilitating a professional environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Erect and dismantle goal nets before and after matches, ensuring they are securely positioned and compliant with safety standards.

Prepare matchday equipment by ensuring that all necessary items, including footballs, corner flags, and hydration provisions, are readily available for players.

Assist in the setup and takedown of matchday infrastructure, including signage and seating arrangements as required.

Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure all matchday operations run efficiently and effectively.

Maintain a clean and organised environment around the pitch, contributing to an enjoyable experience for players, officials, and spectators.

Exhibit attention to detail in all tasks to uphold the professionalism of the matchday experience.
